"Hozyain" journal
The beginning of a long journey was laid in 1925, when a magazine with a capacious and laconic name "Plow" was published.
For a very short period of time, the publication has become a real alphabet of the Belarusian peasantry. With an initial circulation of 7,000 copies, Plow actually had a much larger circle of readers: one issue of the magazine traveled around all the houses of the village, it was read out at peasant meetings. Along with the historical transformations, the name of the magazine also changed: "Plow", "Collective Farmer of Belarus", "Agriculture of Belarus", "Hozyain". Many articles, first published on the pages of our publication, were later used in agricultural collections, in school textbooks, and reprinted in other publications.
Modern "Hozyain" is a modern mass scientific and production magazine with a readership of many thousands, because it is subscribed by Belarusians already in the fourth generation.
The hozyain ”is a full-color print edition of 64 pages that meets the requirements of the time, with a circulation of about 16 thousand copies. We are read not only in Belarus, but also in Russia, Ukraine, Moldova. Among our regular readers are heads of agricultural enterprises, scientists, farmers, owners of agricultural estates, summer residents ... And as modern people, they want to know a lot and be able, in a word, to manage their land competently. Our constant headings "Your Favorite Garden", "Harvest Garden", "In the World of Flowers", "Home Farm", "Landscape Design", "Bee Apiary", "Himself a Master" are called to help them in this.
